| Let me first say that I have (4) 17x9 RPF1 wheels. My initial thoughts were to run 245-255F / 265-275R staggered...some combination of that. I'm confused though when I go onto tirerack and check the specs. It seems like they list a range for the rim width, and a 275 can be between 9"-11" for some tires. However, the measured rim-width spec is 9.5". Does this mean I shouldn't run a 275-40R17 on a 9" wide rim? Also, I was looking at an assortment of track tires. I was curious what everyone's thought's were? I wanted a good price/performance combo. I've seen the Potenza RE11, Hankook V12, Kumho V710, R888. I wanted to stay away from anything too expensive like Michelin/Hoosier because it is probably more tire than I need as an amateur.
